Job Description: Do you consider yourself more of a problem solver than a UX Designer?  We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to reach past the boundaries of the standard digital experience role, using their intelligence to identify solutions that create a better experience throughout our stack; from user research to highly converting designs through hands-on development and testing.

About Us: Recently voted Inc Magazine 2023 Best Places to Work, Biller Genie is an award-winning B2B SaaS platform that helps businesses get paid faster.  We have offices in Miami and Orlando and are growing rapidly, with clients all over the United States and Canada.   Google “Biller Genie” to learn more about our company.

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer who can learn our distribution model and sales funnels quickly and work collaboratively in an Agile environment.  If you think of yourself as a super-utility UX Swiss army knife — someone who can think strategically and act tactically on multiple fronts — we want you to join our growing team of talented engineers ASAP!

The candidate must be physically located in Orlando and able to travel to Miami for quarterly in-person strategy meetings.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • User Research: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations. This may involve interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analyzing user data.
  • User Personas: Develop user personas to represent different user types and their characteristics. Use these personas to guide design decisions and ensure the user's perspective is considered throughout the design process.
  • Information Architecture: Create the information architecture and structure of digital products, ensuring that content is organized in a logical and intuitive manner.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts. These prototypes help to iterate and refine designs based on user feedback.
  • Interaction Design: Design intuitive and user-friendly interactions, including navigation, controls, and gestures, to ensure a smooth and engaging user experience.
  • Visual Design: Create visually appealing interfaces that align with the company's brand identity and design guidelines. This includes selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and visual elements.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans that ensure reliability and eliminate regressions.
  • Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the design. Gather feedback from users and make iterative improvements based on their insights.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, align on goals, and ensure a cohesive user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design. Apply new methodologies and tools to enhance the design process and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document design decisions, guidelines, and specifications to ensure a clear understanding among team members. Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • Flexible work hours
  • Health benefits
  • 401k with match
  • Open PTO policy
  • Salary $95k - $120k commensurate with experience

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using Pendo or a similar digital adoption platform to gather user insights and improve user experiences
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX projects.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Experience conducting user research, including interviews and usability testing.
